제24회 경산시장기 태권도대회 열려
지역 유·초등부 태권 꿈나무 700여명 참가

지역 태권도 꿈나무를 육성하기 위한 ‘제24회 경산시장기 태권도대회’가 13일 경산실내체육관에서 열렸다.
경산시체육회가 주최하고 경산시태권도협회(회장 정연준)가 주관한 이번 대회에는 지역 유·초등부 태권도 선수 700여명이 참가해 겨루기와 품새 종목을 두고 기량을 겨루었다.

이날 오전 11시에 열린 개회식에는 조현일 시장, 윤두현 국회의원, 강영근 체육회장, 이성우 경북태권도협회장, 경산시태권도협회 임원 등 단체장들이 대거 참석해 선수들을 격려했다
대회를 주관한 정연준 경산시태권도협회장은 “올해로 24를 맞는 이번 대회는 우수 선수를 조기 발굴 육성해 도민체전은 물론, 전국대회와 세계 대회에서도 우수한 성적을 거두는 초석이 되고 있다.”고 말했다.
