▲ 국민의힘 소속 전봉근 경산시의원이 제2회 한국장애인MICE인 대상을 수상했다.
전봉근 경산시의원(국민의힘)이 (사)한국장애인마이스협회 주관 ‘제2회 한국장애인MICE人(마이스인) 대상’을 수상했다.
‘한국장애인MICE人 대상’은 (사)한국장애인마이스협회에서 장애인을 위한 회의, 포상관광, 컨벤션, 전시 사업을 통한 사회적 소통과 장애인봉사 등 MICE 4차산업 발전에 기여한 사람을 선정해 수여하는 상이다.
전봉근 의원은 제9대 경산시의회 전반기 행정사회위원회 위원장과 시의회 의원연구단체인 ‘밝은미래’ 대표의원으로 활동하며 사회적 소통과 다문화·장애인을 위한 의정활동 실적이 높게 평가됐다.
전 의원은 “장애인 복지향상을 위해 더 정진하라는 의미에서 이 상을 주신 것 같아 책임감이 크다. 앞으로도 장애인들이 편견 없는 환경에서 살아갈 수 있도록 늘 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 수상소감을 밝혔다.
한편, (사)한국장애인마이스협회 장상수 회장은 지난 11일 경산시의회를 직접 방문해 전봉근 의원에게 표창패를 전수했다.
