경산시의회 의원연구단체 ‘밝은미래’(대표의원 전봉근)는 지난 30일 의회 운영위원회실에서 ‘경산시 영유아보육정책의 동향과 과제에 대한 연구용역’ 최종보고회를 가졌다.
해당 용역은 경산시 영유아 정책의 비전과 방향성 제시를 위해 추진 중으로 이날 최종보고회를 통해 연구 최종 결과물을 공유하고 마지막 의견을 수렴했다.
용역 결과의 주 내용을 보면 ‘영유아·보육 교직원이 함께 만드는 행복한 보육도시, 경산’이라는 비전을 실현하기 위해 ▲부모급여 도입을 통한 종합적 가정양육지원 ▲영유아중심 보육서비스 질 제고 ▲보육교직원 전문성 제고 및 역량강화 ▲보육기반 강화 등 4대 정책목표와 15개의 정책과제, 52개의 세부 추진과제가 제시됐다.
보고회를 주재한 전봉근 대표의원은 “이번 연구용역을 통해 우리 시 영유아보육정책의 개선방안을 제시하고, 향후 우리 시 보육 정책 수립을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것.”이라며, “연구 결과가 우리 시 정책 수립에 최대한 반영될 수 있도록 적극 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
