용성면 곡란리 밤가시농원은 오는 29일 농장주의 자택인 난포고택에서 도시 소비자 50명을 초청, ‘농촌관광 팜파티(Farm-Party)’를 연다.
팜파티가 열리는 난포고택은 경상북도 유형문화재 제80호로 지정된 조선시대 고가로 현재 밤가시농원 최원규 대표가 귀농해 관리하고 있다.
고택 일원에 있는 약 13,223㎡ 규모의 과수원에는 복숭아, 살구, 옻나무, 헛개나무 등이 재배되고 있으며 주변 노지에는 호스래디시, 할라피뇨, 바질 등 다양한 향신 채소와 샐러드 채소를 시험 재배하고 있다.
이번 팜파티의 주제는 ‘향신료’이다. 농원에서 재배하고 있는 다양한 시험재배 향신료를 소개하고 복숭아 막걸리, 복숭아샹그리아 등 지역 특산물과 향신 채소를 이용한 여러 음식을 선보일 예정이다.
또, 농장을 찾은 소비자들과 함께 버터헤드 샐러드 채소 심기, 바질을 이용한 토마토 카프레제 만들기, 국악공연 등 공연·체험행사들도 마련된다.
김종대 농업기술센터소장은 “고풍스러운 고택과 다채로운 향신 채소의 만남을 통해 농업·농촌의 가치와 산지 먹거리를 즐기는 문화의 공간이 되기를 바란다.”고 전했다.
