경산자율방범연합대 제14대 연합대장에 박흥수 씨(44세, 정평동)가 취임했다.
박흥수 신임 연합대장은 29일 저녁 7시 압량행복발전소 대회의실에서 최영조 시장, 유오재 경찰서장, 박미옥 시의회 부의장, 도·시의원, 지역 단체장, 회원 등 200여명이 참석한 가운데 취임식을 가졌다.

박 신임 연합대장은 취임사를 통해 “앞으로 2년간 15개 지역대 대원들과 함께 안전하고 행복한 경산을 만들기 위해 함께 노력하겠다. 지역사회에서도 모범으로 존경받는 단체를 만들도록 맡은 바 최선을 다하겠다.”고 각오를 밝혔다.
한편, 지난 1997년 결성된 경산자율방범연합회는 현재 15개 지역대, 750여명의 회원들이 소속돼 방범지역 순찰, 청소년 선도활동, 교통캠페인, 기초질서 지키기 캠페인 등 다양한 지역활동을 전개하고 있다.
