설 연휴 마지막 날부터 기온이 큰 폭으로 떨어지면서 이번 주는 올겨울 최강 한파가 이어질 전망이다.
기상청은 예보기간(24~30일) 대체로 맑은 날이 많을 것으로 전망했다.
주간 기온 분포를 보면, 아침 최저기온이 영하 15~영하 3도, 낮 최고기온은 영하 7~5도까지 분포될 것으로 내다봤다.
특히, 이번 추위는 수요일인 25일 절정에 다를 것으로 전망했다. 이날 아침 기온이 영하 15도까지 떨어지고 낮 기온도 영하권에 머물면서 올겨울 들어 가장 추울 것으로 전망했다.
이후 목요일 낮부터 기온이 조금 오르겠으나, 주말 다시 아침 기온이 영하 10도까지 내려가 추울 것으로 내다봤다.
기상청은 갑자기 추워진 날씨로 인한 감염병 예방과 빙판길 미끄럼 사고와 교통안전에 유의할 것을 당부했다.
