▲ 22일 현흥초등학교에서 경산시가 운영하는 학교 구강보건교육이 실시됐다.
경산시는 코로나19로 잠정 중단했던 학교 구강보건사업을 22일 현흥초등학교를 시작으로 재개했다.
경산 관내에는 현흥초등학교, 자인초등학교, 용성초등학교, 대동초등학교 총 4개교에 학교 구강보건실이 설치 운영되고 있다.
구강 교육은 학년별 눈높이에 맞춘 교육으로 진행되며 ▲구강보건 상식 ▲충치 예방법, ▲올바른 칫솔질 방법 시연 ▲깜짝 구강 퀴즈 이벤트 ▲구강 위생용품 사용법 등 구강 건강관리의 중요성에 대해 교육한다.
또, 불소도포, 치아 홈 메우기, 스케일링 등 예방 처치, 유치 발치, 충치 치료, 칫솔질 교습 등 예방부터 치료까지 포괄 구강 진료 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.
안경숙 보건소장은 “학교 구강보건실 운영을 통해 지속해서 구강 보건교육과 구강 진료 서비스를 제공함으로써 학생들이 건강한 구강건강 상태를 유지하도록 하고, 구강건강 수준이 향상되도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
